Welcome to our branch website. UNISON represents 460 staff throughout Lewis, Harris, Uist and Barra, who work for the Local Authority, Comhairle nan Eilean Siart, the Lews Castle College, and the Western Isles Tourist Board.We negotiate for better pay and conditions, help individuals in trouble and campaign for a safer, fairer society. This is a new site and is currently being developed.
